It's an age old question - "How can I have a more balance in my life?"
With families to care for and work to do, it seems almost impossible to get off the speeding train let alone look after ourselves as well.
During my ongoing search to find fulfilment in life, I've had a few epiphanies. These came from feeling frustrated that one week I had too much time to overthink, and other weeks I felt overworked, or all my plans seem to be happening at once. As an introvert this is especially overwhelming and the 'why did I book that?' questions start to creep in!
This frustration led to some heavy thinking about our purpose in life and how we have little control over the timing of things.
I realised that there wasn't any point in feeling frustrated because the scales are never balanced. If this is the case, how can we find happiness in life? Is work life balance a myth?
I came to the conclusion, that the answer is to change your perspective. The balance we search out actually averages out over an expanse of time. The scales are usually tipped but they pass by the balance mark on a regular basis. For example, one week you've got 10 projects on at work and the next week you've got barely any, In the third week you've experienced both circumstances and have a rounded overview of them both. Or one week you've had plans with friends most nights, and the next week you've had none. By the end of it you've had the best of both worlds, just not as you had envisioned it happening. There is magic in accepting things as they are. Peace comes from the knowledge that everything is temporary, from embracing the ever-changing fleeting moments that we know will be gone in a short time.
The Lezzeri brand logo represents the premise of balance, two perfectly mirroring 'L's'. It's a reminder to try and be accepting when things get either over or underwhelming. A reminder that you can feel balanced after experiencing a varying amount of everything and looking at our experiences as more of an average rather than seeing them for what they are in that moment.
I hope my outlook has helped ease your mind a little, try to remember this when you feel like things aren't going to plan. The universe has it's own plan for you, you just need to be more accepting of it.
